Beginning the Next Chapter: Barry Granger on Dr. King’s Dream
How far does the inauguration of Barack Obama as U.S. president go in fulfilling Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream for America? Barry Granger, vice president and general manager, DuPont Nonwovens, was one of five community leaders who answered that question as part of an article that was featured in The News Journal (Wilmington, Del.) last week.
“As we prepare for the inauguration of Barack Obama as the next president of the United States, it is appropriate to reflect and revisit Dr. Martin Luther King's dream for America,” Barry said.
“Our country is beginning the next chapter. We have elected a person based on the content of his character and not by the color of his skin. This is a powerful message that every American can aspire to. Dr. King would be proud,” he added.
