DuPont Russia Hosts Industrial Safety Roundtable

DuPont Russia recently hosted a roundtable discussion on a new federal industrial safety improvement action program and how it could create new business opportunities. The event was organized by DuPont, the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) and the Russian Ministry of Public Health and Social Development.
Representatives from the Russian Ministry of Public Health and Social Development, International Labor Organization and other major Russian and international organizations highlighted the new federal safety labor program – which is scheduled to launch in 2008. The discussion focused on provisions for the establishment of a fundamentally new state-business relationship in the area of industrial safety and protection.
“An event like this helps us better understand the necessity of global industrial safety standards. We are happy to collaborate on these efforts and hope to continue developing in this area,” said Brook Horowitz, executive director, IBLF, Russia.
