Driving Growth Through Safety Offerings in Africa

DuPont recently participated at the Safeconex 2007, an occupational health and safety conference and exhibition held in Johannesburg, South Africa, to promote key safety offerings and solutions.
DuPont showcased advanced personal protection offerings including DuPont™ Tyvek® garments; DuPont™ Tychem® C2 and F2 high-end chemical protection; and, DuPont™ Nomex® flame-resistant apparels. DuPont Safety Resources presented consulting services, reinforcing strong leadership among key corporations in South Africa.
DuPont South Africa also featured safety solutions to miners and highlighted solutions for electric arc and molten metal end-users. Participation in the exhibition reinforced DuPont’s commitment in the local market and drive for growth in the region.
“The exhibition served as a platform for the official launch of our Tychem® C2 and F2 range of chemical protective clothing, specifically targeting the petrochemical and mining sectors,” said Ajen Maharaj, manager, DuPont Personal Protection, Sub-Saharan Africa.
