Crop Protection Partners with Companies
To Boost Product Pipeline
DuPont Crop Protection and two India-based custom-research companies -- GVK Biosciences and Syngene International -- recently formed a strategic alliance partnership for discovery chemistry services.
GVK Biosciences has been working with Crop Protection for more than five years and has a dedicated discovery chemistry team working on DuPont Research & Development (R&D) initiatives. Syngene has been a preferred research service provider to Crop Protection in the field of discovery chemistry and biology, and now will provide integrated research services through its “one box” model, covering a broad range of R&D technical capabilities to support the DuPont discovery pipeline.
“In recognition of our long-standing relationship with our strategic partners, we have taken the next step to further advance our collaboration,” said Julia Wheeler, director, R&D, Crop Protection. “These agreements will allow us to leverage India's value advantage and continue to build an advanced and cost-effective research and development pipeline in support of our business growth objectives.”
