DuPont India employees with the Crop Protection team at the product launch.

DuPont Crop Protection in India recently launched three new products that will provide long-lasting answers to insect and weed problems and contribute to the prosperity of rice and sugar cane farmers in the northern belts of the country.  The new products include a novel new insect control product, DuPont™ Coragen™, and two new weed-control products – DuPont™ Londax Power™ and DuPont™ Velpar®.

Coragen™ is a revolutionary new insect control product that optimizes a grower’s potential to produce high-quality, high-yielding crops by providing long-lasting control of damaging pests.  It is powered by Rynaxypyr™, an award-winning new chemistry from DuPont.  Coragen™ insect control protects rice, sugar cane, cotton crops, cabbage and cauliflower.

Londax Power™ weed control comes in an easy-to-use granular formulation and is a new option for long-lasting control of grasses and broadleaf weeds in rice through a single application. Velpar® K-4™ weed control is an excellent solution for broadleaf weed and grass control in sugar cane, where there are very few good weed control options available.
