Four-time NASCAR® Cup Series Champion Jeff Gordon raced in the Pep Boys Auto 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Ga.  Jeff placed 7th.  He currently is in 1st place in the Race for the Nextel Cup.  The Race is a 10-race series with 12 drivers that will determine the winner of the Nextel Cup.
