Serving its local communities, the DuPont DeLisle site in Pass Christian, Miss. (U.S.), recently donated more than $2,000 worth of emergency response equipment to nearby fire departments that protect communities in West Harrison County and Diamondhead, Miss.
The fire departments received:
- A portable weather station.
- Firefighter water vests, which are used to put out brush fires.
- A rescue tripod.
- A diamond-tipped rescue saw and cutting blades.
- A Tac-Stick, which is a handheld device used to locate downed, live power lines.
Harrison County Fire Marshall and Local Emergency Planning Committee Chair George Mixon said, “We appreciate the equipment and thank DuPont for this support in helping our department provide services for the residents of the DeLisle area.”
