"We're very honored to have Pioneer Y Series soybeans selected for this award," said
Frank Ross, vice president and regional director for DuPont business Pioneer Hi-Bred. "The market response to the Y Series soybeans has been tremendous, and we expect to see further growth in the 2010 planting season. The Y Series marked the largest product launch in Pioneer's 83-year history and significantly contributed to our market share gain in soybeans.
"Developed using Pioneer's proprietary Accelerated Yield Technology (AYT™) system, the Y Series soybeans are helping redefine soybean yield potential,” Frank added. “The combined efforts of Pioneer research & development, seed production, marketing and sales professionals across North America contributed to this success. All involved should feel proud of this significant industry recognition."
AgriMarketing magazine will feature Pioneer Y Series soybeans on the cover of an upcoming issue and prepare several articles on the development and marketing of Pioneer’s innovative soybean line.
