DuPont Presents 2002 Annual Review
New Publication Supplements Information to Investors and, in Combination With SEC Form 10-K, Replaces Traditional Annual Report
WILMINGTON, Del., March 21, 2003 The 2002 Annual Review, a new DuPont publication that supplements the company's filing of the Securities and Exchange Commission Form 10-K for 2002, is being mailed with the 10-K to shareholders. Both documents provide shareholders and investors with a business overview of the company including key events and accomplishments during 2002. Management's discussion and analysis of financial results, with audited financial statements is in the SEC Form 10-K. Together, the two publications replace the traditional DuPont Annual Report.
"Our new Annual Review offers a broad overview that will be of general interest not only to stockholders, but to others who want to know about DuPont and its businesses," said Charles O. Holliday, Jr., DuPont chairman and chief executive officer. "The new format gives us the flexibility to meet accelerated timelines for reporting year-end results to the SEC while providing our investors with key highlights of our businesses and other accomplishments for the previous year."
Beginning today, DuPont shareholders of record will receive a package containing the new DuPont 2002 Annual Review, the company's filing of SEC Form 10-K, and the 2003 Annual Meeting Proxy Statement.
The Annual Review and the SEC Form 10-K are available on-line in the Investor Center at www.dupont.com.
