DuPont Realigns Management Responsibilities
WILMINGTON, Del., July 22, 2004 DuPont today announced changes in the responsibilities of two senior leaders.
Richard R. Goodmanson, executive vice president and chief operating officer, will add responsibility for all geographic regions. He will continue to lead the company's two-year $900 million cost improvement effort that was initiated in late 2003.
Craig G. Naylor, group vice president Asia Pacific region and DuPont Electronic & Communication Technologies (ECT), will be fully dedicated to the ECT platform. He will continue to spend significant time in Asia consistent with the importance of the region to ECT's global success.
"With our $900 million cost improvement actions well under way, we can now expand Richard's responsibilities to include the regions. This will facilitate rapid adoption of best practices to accelerate growth in emerging economies and across the company worldwide," said DuPont Chairman and CEO Charles O. Holliday, Jr. "The change also will allow Craig to be totally focused on growth of the ECT businesses."
