DuPont Emphasizes the Need for Global Collaboratory in addressing challenges in Food, Energy and Protection in Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, February 28, 2012 – In 2012 Vietnam’s population will reach 90 million, and by 2020 it is expected to reach 100 million1. As this number grows, so do the challenges we face in feeding our people, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and protecting people and the environment. DuPont Vietnam promotes green awareness & initiatives together with the community in Lam Village, Nam Dinh, a key agricultural province of northern Vietnam, by planting trees along the main village road to the rice farms and at the local school.
