Amanda Levete is an architect and designer whose critically acclaimed work is both award winning and seminal in its influence. She is the director of AL_A, an innovative London based design practice with a visionary agenda focused on the integration of design, research, technology, and materiality.

Current work includes a new Headquarters building for News International in London, a large luxury retail and hotel complex in Bangkok, a City Academy in London, a subway station in Naples in collaboration with Anish Kapoor, and furniture for Established & Sons. The most recent collection, ‘Around the Corner’, was exhibited at the Established & Sons Gallery in London in 2008.

Amanda Levete trained at the Architectural Association, worked for Richard Rogers, and then joined Future Systems as a partner in 1989, before launching AL_A in 2009.
