Garments made of Tychem® and System CPF® fabric should only be selected by persons trained in evaluating the specific end-use conditions and selecting appropriate chemical protective apparel, and do so at their own discretion and risk. Anyone intending to use a chemical protective garment should first verify that they are suitable for the intended use. In many cases, seams and closures have shorter breakthrough times and higher chemical permeation rates than the fabric. Tychem® garments should not be exposed to continuous hazardous liquid chemical splash or deluge. Direct liquid chemical exposure to the ensemble should be limited as much as possible. If exposed to direct splash or a deluge of hazardous chemical, leave the area immediately and decontaminate immediately.
