How do I enter?
All information required to enter the Awards is contained within the Call for Entry brochure or the Entry Form, which can be downloaded on this website.


All entries MUST include:
1.  CD containing the completed Entry Form and separate word document answering all entry questions.
2. 1 x Hard copy of the fully completed Entry Form (as above).
3. Image/s of your innovation and/or to support your entry saved as high -resolution (300dpi) JPG or TIFF file saved onto CD.

NB: Entries may also include DVD's showing video demonstration/s of the innovation may also be included. Where available, samples of the innovation may be sent with the entry.

Can I apply on-line?
No, however you can download the Entry Form here .


How much does it cost to enter?
There is no entry fee.


Why do I need to make a hard copy of the Entry form in addition to providing it on CD?
The hard copy is for administration purposes and the CD is required to create multiple document copies for judging purposes


Why do you need all images supplied as high res (300dpi) JPG, TIFF or PDF Files? What if I don't have the facility to provide this?
We require high-resolution images for viewing during judging and for use in the Awards programme. If you are not able to scan images or do not have photographs of your product, application, technology or service, clearly outline it to the best of your ability.


Does the 2,000-word limit include the Executive Summary?
Yes, your entry should not exceed 2,000 words which includes all text, appendices and supporting material.


What should I include with my Entry Forms?
Each entry may be accompanied by supporting material where appropriate - such as sound or video recordings, product samples, photographs, technical and other literature, drawings, graphs or small models to help the judges clearly understand your entry.


What if the entry is not my original work?
The Entrant warrants that all work submitted for the awards is the original work of the entrant. Entries that are found not to be the original work of the entrant will be immediately disqualified.


Is there anything I need to do before entering?
Ensure that you have read and agreed to all the Entry Terms and Conditions, which is a condition of entry.


What are the Judges looking for?
The judges will be rewarding the entry that best demonstrates the following criteria:
1. Executive Summary
2. Degree of Innovation
3. Scope of Application (Current and Potential)
4. Commercial Significance and Benefit (Current and Potential)
5. Degree of Collaboration
6. Environmental Sustainability


What can I win?
Award winners will receive industry recognition for their innovation, through publicity in trade press. Winners will be recognised at the Awards presentation in May 2008 in Sydney, where they will be presented with a trophy. A showcase of winning innovations will also be displayed on the DuPont Innovation Awards website.


When and how will finalists be notified?
Finalists will be notified by mail in March 2008.


When will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced at the Awards presentation in May 2008 in Sydney.
