Executive Biography
Al Forsyth is the Director of Operations for DuPont Canada.
Mr. Forsyth joined DuPont in 1988 as a process Engineer at the Kingston, Ontario, manufacturing facility. While at the Kingston plant, he held a number of positions including Foreman, Technical Leader, Plant Technical Manager, and Project Lead for the nylon production expansion.
In 2000, Mr. Forsyth moved to DuPont’s sales office in Atlanta, Georgia, as Sales and Marketing Manager, DuPont Flooring Systems. He returned to Canada in 2003 as Unit Manager of the Engineering Polymers facility in Maitland, Ontario.
Mr. Forsyth became Plant Manager of DuPont Canada’s Thetford Site in Quebec, which manufactures DuPont™ Zodiaq® quartz surfaces. In 2008, he was assigned Global Supply Chain leader for DuPont’s Building Innovations business based in Wilmington, Delaware. Mr. Forsyth returned to Canada in 2010 to assume his current role as Operations Director, DuPont Canada.
Mr. Forsyth holds a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia. In 1995 he completed his MBA at Queen’s University, Kingston.
