Ilia Frolov is the Business Manager, DuPont Protection Technologies.
Mr. Frolov joined DuPont in 1991 as a technical marketing representative in Moscow, Russia, followed by various marketing and sales assignments in Fluorochemicals and Titanium Dioxide businesses in Eastern Europe.
In 1996, Mr. Frolov relocated to Geneva, Switzerland, and held technical, marketing and project leadership positions in the Fluorochemicals business in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
In 1998, Mr. Frolov was appointed as Business Leader for DuPont’s Advanced Fibers business in Eastern Europe and was responsible for leading a team of business development professionals to develop Eastern European markets.
Mr. Frolov relocated to Canada in 2000, and after completing his MBA in 2002, he rejoined DuPont in Mississauga, Ontario, as a marketing manager in the Marketing group. Mr. Frolov held a variety of business development positions over the next six years in various DuPont Canada businesses.
In 2008, Mr. Frolov moved to Geneva, Switzerland, as marketing manager for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for DuPont’s Protection Technologies business.
Mr. Frolov returned to Canada in 2010 as Business Manager, Industrial Personal Protection, and was named to his current position in 2012.
Born in Moscow, Russia, Mr. Frolov has a M.Sc. honors degree in Chemical Engineering from the Moscow University of Chemical Technology and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
