Glen E. Roberts

Executive Biography

Glen E. Roberts is Director of DuPont Safety Resources and Building Innovations

Mr. Roberts joined DuPont in the Finishes business in Ajax Ontario in 1987 holding positions as Development Chemist and Technical Service Rep for the automotive accounts. After completing his MBA in 1994, he rejoined DuPont in Mississauga Ontario as a Business Analyst in the Fibers business.  In 1996, Mr. Roberts joined the DuPont marketing group and has held positions as Account Manager in the Nylon Intermediates business and as Business Development Manager in the Kevlar® Life Protection and Protective Apparel markets.

In 2001, Mr. Roberts moved to Vancouver British Columbia as Chief Operating Officer to manage the Brookdale operations acquired by DuPont in 2000.  He sat on the Board of Directors at Brookdale and was named President in 2003.  In late 2004, Mr. Roberts returned to Mississauga in his new appointment of Business Manager, DuPont Titanium Technologies Canada and Market Network Enterprise.  He was named into his current role in 2006

Born in Toronto Ontario, Mr. Roberts graduated in 1987 from the University of Waterloo with a BSc in Applied Chemistry and in 1994, completed his MBA in International Business from York University.  He has lived in Japan and has traveled extensively through Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Mr. Roberts resides in Mississauga with his wife Karen and two sons Nolan and Evan.
