Priscilla Vansetti

Executive Biography

Ms. Vansetti joined DuPont in 1981 as a Registration and Regulatory Affairs specialist in São Paulo, Brazil, followed by management assignments in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship and Government Affairs in the DuPont do Brasil Crop Protection business.

In 1996 she relocated to Wilmington, DE, and held technical and project leadership positions in Global Technology Fungicides and Insecticides discovery through 1999, when she became the Research and Development Manager for Crop Protection South America.  In this assignment she was responsible for research, field development and regulatory capability in the Andean, Brazil and Southern Cone business units.
 
In 2000 Ms. Vansetti was appointed Technology Renewal Manager at the Stine-Haskell  Research Center in Newark, DE,  where she lead a global team on the re-design of commercialization and development processes to improve efficiency, cycle time and return on investment of crop protection chemistry discovery and development. Ms. Vansetti held a variety of management positions over the next 7 years in the North America Crop Protection business.  She was appointed Strategic Planning manager for the US business unit, followed by Marketing & Sales Six Sigma Master Black Belt,    leading a team of top line growth Black Belts in the US and Canada focused on market launches of crop protection pipeline products, business renewal and at-the-customer for-the- customer projects. She was named to her current position in August 2008, when she relocated to Mississauga, Ontario.
 
She was born in Brazil, has a B.Sc. degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo, and completed the Executive Management Program at Wharton in 2006.

Ms. Vansetti is active in a number of trade associations, including CLC- CropLife Canada where she is a board member, chair of the Chemistry Committee and member of the Audit Committee. She is also member of CAAR – Canadian Association of Agri Retailers, where she serves on the Board of Directors as CropLife Canada Liaison.
