Executive Biography

William B. White is President of E. I. du Pont Canada Company.  Mr. White has held a variety of global business unit leadership roles since he joined the company 32 years ago, including DuPont Titanium Technologies, DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise and DuPont Safety Resources. 

Prior to his appointment to lead DuPont Canada, Mr. White was Director of Business Improvement at the company’s headquarters in Wilmington.  He worked across the corporation leading programs focused on growth through marketing and sales transformation, emerging market focus and step change business strategies. 

Mr. White was named into his current position in August, 2006. In his new role, he will be located at DuPont Canada’s headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario.

Mr. White was born in the United States and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He also chairs the Mechanical Engineering advisory committee at Purdue.

Mr. White serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation (CIPEC). He serves as the Vice Chairman, Responsible Care^®, for Canada's Chemical Producers Association (CCPA). Mr. White also serves as a committee member on the Board of MaRS, a not-for-profit corporation interested in improving commercial outcomes from Canada's foundation of science and technology innovation, including biotechnology, advanced information technology, and nanotechnology. 

Mr. White and his wife Liz have two sons, Matt and Chris.
