Maritza Poza-Grise Vice President - DuPont Human Resources
Maritza Poza-Grise is vice president of DuPont Human Resources. She joined DuPont in 1980 in Wilmington, Del., as an engineer at the Edgemoor site in Wilmington, Del.
From 1980 to 1991, she held a variety of technical and business roles in the White Pigments, Fluoroproducts and Industrial Chemicals businesses in Wilmington. In 1991, she transferred to Corpus Christi, Texas, as a manufacturing unit manager in the Fluoroproducts business, and in 1995, transferred to the Chambers Works plant as operations manager, Specialty Chemicals. In December 1997 she was appointed business and operations manager for the Aramids Intermediates business.
She was appointed director, Human Resources, DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise in February 1999, and assumed the role of SBU Six Sigma Champion in October 2001. In April 2002, she was appointed project director - Human Resources Transformation, and in 2003, human resources director - Nonwovens. She was then named Human Resources director, Global Operations in 2004. She was named to her current position in February 2008.
Born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Miami, Fla., Ms. Poza-Grise graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
