Janet H. Waters is vice president, Supply Chain – DuPont Chemicals & Fluoroproducts. She joined DuPont in 1976 as a chemist at the Glasgow, Del., site.
Ms. Waters has held a variety of positions in manufacturing, business, technology and human resources. Seventy percent of her career has been spent leading manufacturing operations, including three plant manager assignments at Glasgow , Del., Newtown, Conn., and Fayetteville, N.C. Following the Fayetteville assignment, she became global operations director for DuPont Fluoroproducts. In January 2004, Ms. Waters was named operations group leader for DuPont Electronic & Communication Technologies. In December 2006 she was named vice president, Operations – DuPont Electronic & Communication Technologies. She was appointed to her current position in November 2009.
Ms. Waters was born in New Jersey. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in chemistry. She also holds a degree in biochemistry from Duke University.
