DuPont™ Trancend™ is an extrusion coating resin designed to serve as a cost-effective sealant layer capable of unprimed adhesion to aluminum surfaces. Heat seal initiation temperatures are low, and the resin offers good sealing through powder or food particles.
Trancend™ resin has good foil bond durability in the presence of alcohol and oil containing products. Typical uses include powdered/granular food and non-food pouches, snack structures and alcohol sachets.
