The Scuola Grafica Cartaria «San Zeno» organizes, with the cooperation of Esko, DuPont and Uteco, the first flexo technical seminar.
The organization team confirmed the speakers who will take part at technical seminar San Zeno FLEXOPRINT, a technical seminar that will take place in Verona, Italy on the 6th of April 2006.
The speaker agenda has been devised to give the audience a rounded view of the packaging printing quality from several different perspectives.
The opening welcome will be from Tiziano Zanotti, director of the Scuola Grafica Cartaria "San Zeno"; Mirko Salzani, responsible for the packaging project at San Zeno will provide a description of the ideal workflow for flexo packaging printing.
"We believe that the San Zeno FLEXOPRINT day should be more than just an exposé of theoretical concepts," confirms Tiziano Zanotti. "Our seminar combines technical input with presentations intended to provide strategic direction to the packaging specialists attending from across the country."
Davide Meroni, Esko will describe the front-end solutions and the most advanced Flexo Computer-to-Plate systems, CDI.
Mario Castelli, DuPont will touch on quality flexo plates and will explain how flexography reached today’s quality in Tag & Label with the thermal technology Cyrel® FAST; which is now available also for flexible packaging.
Giuseppe Tripaldi, Uteco Converting S.p.a. will exploit the quality level reached with narrow web printing presses and how the key learning can now be transferred to the wide web presses.
