DuPont has announced the installation of a new Cyrel® Digital Imager, ESKO – CDI Spark 4835 at Rossita, Tula, Russia for producing flexographic photopolymer plates up to 900mm (35.4in) х 1200 mm (47.2in) wide.

Technical Director of Rossita, Mr. Serguey Kargapoltsev commented: "Wide formats are an important requirement for some of our major customers. The new CDI Spark 4835 will enable us to offer digital plate sizes up to one and half, to two times larger in comparison with our current production capability and gives us the ability to serve wide web printers. The CDI Spark 4835 is a significant upgrade to our digital plate making department which will also soon be enhanced with a new DuPont™ Cyrel® 1000 ECLF, state-of-the-art exposure and light finishing system and by additional plate cutting and storage equipment that will help us to meet the most demanding of customer requirements".

The Rossita Graphic Arts Centre was founded in 1993 and is a Russian-Italian joint venture specialising in the supply of analogue and digital flexo plate making, graphic arts equipment and consumables as well as labels with security and anti counterfeiting features.
