Two independent technology leaders of the flexo industry together again to reconfirm their commitment to Advancing Flexography
At the last Drupa edition, many printing industry specialists agreed that flexography would match or exceed other printing technologies as a leading packaging printing process by 2008. Amongst many others, that is one of the reasons that the Düsseldorf event this year will be a major milestone for Flexography: visitors will be looking for state-of-the-art and quality achievements in flexo printing. Drupa visitors are not expected to look simply for suppliers; instead they will continue to seek out solid partner companies, companies able to “sustain” their solutions on a long life basis thanks to their capability to foresee trends and technology evolutions.
The market economy and its current conditions force users to make wise investment with partners that, in spite of future uncertainties and ever increasing challenges of the packaging printing industry, have demonstrated, year after year, the ability to provide solutions that add value to their business and contribute effectively to their growth. Moreover, flexo users will also seek technology solutions that will allow their businesses to be competitive, profitable and sustainable by being environmentally smart and compliant with local ecology laws.
DuPont Packaging Graphics and EskoArtwork have focused their attention to all these needs and the developments that will be presented at the show will reconfirm the value of their close technical cooperation. The new Flexo Vertical Solutions, based on the strength and value of fully digital and digital thermal flexo workflows, address the production needs of flexo tradeshops and packaging printers.
The new DuPont™ Cyrel® / EskoArtworks Vertical Solutions include products and services tailor-made for all of the different segments and applications --- Tag and Label, Flexible Packaging, Corrugated Board, etc. Their modular approach addresses different customer needs both in terms of size --- large and small companies --- and typology --- tradeshops and printers.
“DuPont Packaging Graphics and EskoArtwork have been partnering together for more than fifteen years,” states John McCooey, DuPont Packaging Graphics Global Marketing Director. “This cooperation has allowed us to Advance Flexography and bring it to the level you know today. Our DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST and Cyrel® round solutions are regarded as amongst the most innovative industry solutions and have strongly contributed to making flexo much more productive and more sustainable”.
“More than 1.000 EskoArtwork – Cyrel® Digital Imagers installed worldwide are the result of years of successful technical cooperation. They’re also the best factual demonstration of the capability of our people to jointly ‘look into the future’ and give life to solutions that meet customer needs for a long time”, commented Juergen Andresen, Vice President Flexo Business at EskoArtwork.
To further support the advancement of the flexo industry, at drupa 2008, DuPont and EskoArtwork will also offer financing options to customers all over the world willing to invest in new sustainable technologies.
