DuPont presents certificates to students of Moscow State University of Printing Arts
DuPont and Moscow State University of Printing Arts (MGUP) recently awarded certificates to 16 graduates of the year-long, intensive study flexography course offered at MGUP). The ceremony, held in the Center of High Technologies and sponsored by DuPont, celebrated the accomplishments of the ninth class to graduate from the University’s flexography course of study. Gerald Zadorov, East Europe sales manager of DuPont, was on hand to distribute the certificates.
DuPont has been a pioneer in the educational efforts preparing students to become highly skilled flexographers, working over the years with Mr. Sorokin, doctor of technical sciences, to create and lead the flexography course. Recently DuPont has invited other companies with expertise in flexography, such as 3M, Siegwerk, Realin, Heidelberg and UpackGroup, to contribute to the course material and lectures.
The ceremony opened with Mr. Jean-Luc Duramy, general director, DuPont Science and Technologies LLC. “The cooperation between DuPont and Moscow State University of Printing Arts is very important for us because it not only promotes flexo printing in Russia; it helps our customers to hire trained specialists that can contribute to their success very quickly.”
The University’s dean of “Techniques and Technologies of Polygraphic Industry”, Mrs. Sretentseva, along with course lecturers Mr. Sorokin and Mrs. Kartasheva, the correspondents of branch editions and former students currently working in flexography were invited to the ceremony.

The “Flexo Plus” journal editors Kulikova A. and Zavjalova offered the graduates warm congratulations. On behalf of “Kursiv” publishing house, they gave the students a free subscription to “Flexo Plus” as a graduation gift.
