Cyrel® Digital Imager (CDI) Cantilever The Cyrel® FAST round system delivers highly precise registration, eye-catching print quality and plate access time of less than one hour for four photopolymer sleeves. Using an easy process, the Cyrel® FAST sleeve mask is ablated by the Cyrel® Digital Imager (CDI) Cantilever laser, exposed and thermally developed in the solvent-free Cyrel® FAST round equipment. This clean, solvent-free technology allows just-in-time imaging of 4 seamless photopolymer sleeves in less than one hour.
Small enough to slip into any tradeshop, printing or converting facility, the new solvent–free thermal processor is a compact 360cm wide, 130cm deep and 210cm high (142” x 51” x 83”). The ergonomic design provides easy access to all controls and allows for quick changeover from one sleeve diameter or thickness to another.
The EskoArtwork - Cyrel® Digital Imager Cantilever with Sleeve Option (mandrel exchange or cantilever) is a productive solution for all sleeve formats, including Cyrel® solvent round and Cyrel® FAST round. This offers highest productivity thanks to seamless sleeve imaging and the Seamless Screens solutions offered by the EskoArtwork FlexRip.
The exchangeable cantilever arm and an automated tailstock is a system that allows one operator to easily change a sleeve without additional tools. The new cantilever sleeve system of the Cyrel® Digital Imager Compact allows fastest and smoothest sleeve handling to maximize productivity.
Cyrel® FAST round Exposure Unit
DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST round EX exposes the highest quality thin or classic sleeves with any repeats up to a nominal maximum length of 1.450 mm.
The exposure unit is a fully automated and easy operation process. All parameters are computer controlled. The control panel is fitted with electronic timer and hour counter. The Cyrel® FAST Round EX is delivered in one piece, after transportation to its final location, no adjustment is necessary.
Cyrel® FAST round Processor
The Cyrel® FAST round system features patented technologies to produce finished printing forms with excellent printing properties that meet the real world demands of the package printing industry:
- The unique ‘loose fit’ beam to accommodate the broad variety of sleeve diameters;
- The heating systems optimized for high processing speeds and low energy consumption;
- The hydraulic system that applies the right amount of pressure to the printing form and the thermal developer roll;
- The thermal developer processing medium that removes the liquefied non-imaged area from the photopolymer sleeve.
