He has lots of experience in supporting all the CDI operator needs and Horst assists you in the flexo fingerprint analysis with CyFOS. He works for decades with Esko Graphics, ArtPro and others DTP workflows.

The perfect know how about CDI technology offered by Thies’ installations and support for the computer to plate technology especially with the Esko prepress links. The ITR workflow for the CDI-imaging on digital raw photopolymer sleeves with the inline processor for the flexo printing sleeves are his latest development to optimize quality and productivity for the flexo packaging industry.
Dr. Bernhard Metzger
Cyrel® FAST Team Leader responsible for thermal developing Cyrel® FAST installations. Bernhard designs and supports the analog and the digital workflow for this solvent free technology with very close customer cooperations.
Dipl.-Ing. Sabine Rapp
Sabine develops new analog and digital flexo photopolymer plates with a strong link to the market. Her main focus is on the Cyrel® FAST technology in addition to her very good know how about the conventional solvent processed plate making. Sabine installs and supports CDI installations as well.
Ute Hirse
The product performance and customer complaint handling for Europe and other countries is led by Ute Hirse. She monitors all the Cyrel® plate products with the manufacturing in Neu-Isenburg. For our customers she also makes solvent/plate compatibility tests and problem analysis.
Günter Hartel
Günter handles customer plate requests and orders the required materials. He always has the laboratory stock overview and processing parameters for all the different Cyrel® photopolymers and plate thicknesses.
Dipl. Ing. Christian Apenberg
Christian is a dedicated specialist for all aspects around digital workflow and digital platemaking. His broad expertise in the world of prepress is combined with a detailed knowledge about Digital Proofing. Christian is responsible for several kinds of CTP trainings and the installation and training of Cyrel® equipment all over the world.
Peter Kampmann
Peter is the specialist for all activities in the Corrugated Post- and Preprint application area. He covers both analog and digital platemaking for that important market segment. In addition Peter is responsible for the Cyrel* Macroflex Mounting unit and all specific Corrugated Workflow requirements.
Dr. Ute Doeppner-Buchholz
Ute knows everything about analog plates including all the history. She is your contact person for any issue related to solvents and plate/solvent compatibility. She does all the analyses and trouble shooting. Ute is responsible to run several kinds of trainings from Basic platemaking to specially designed customer trainings. In addition she is our ISO coordinator and takes responsibility for safety and health related aspects within the team.
Horst Messerschmidt
Horst covers all aspects of the digital workflow in the Packaging Industry. He supports customers and OEM partners with installations and training. With his excellent industry background he is a resource for complex customer projects from prepress to platemaking.
Kornelia Steinort
Kornelia is the coordinator of the technical marketing team and - with Tina - the first contact for all requests and questions. Together with Tina she organises the office and is mainly responsible for the coordination of trips for the team members and the cooperation with other Industry Partners like ESKO Graphics.
Christina Hennig
Christina is the team assistant you will get on the phone and e-mail as well as Kornelia for your link to the Cyrel® application team. She organizes the office and handles the trainings for customers and other visitors for Cyrel®. Christina is together with Kornelia the first recipient of the plate requests. She monitors the job tracking and prepares the shipping.
