- Produce hybrid dots as needed, then switch off to return to standard digital dots
Testing to date has shown that the conventional digital dot profile still produces the best all-around image carrier for many flexo applications. However, in those cases where a customer may benefit from the use of hybrid dot shape, the Cyrel® XD system will be a simple system upgrade that will allow them to do that.
The Cyrel® XD System is scheduled for commercial launch in the first half of 2010
