The recent installation of the new DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST system is part of a specific corporate development program. Netpack is an industrial concern that is actively pursing technological innovation, and has the capability of providing custom solutions to satisfy the specific requirements of each product and client.

Mr. Mariano Giorgini, Netpack SPA's plant manager remarks, "The printing and preparation of flexographic plates play a significant role for our company in terms of satisfying our client's ever expanding requirements. The new DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST systems allows us to produce flexographic plates while reducing production time by 75% compared to the time normally required using other conventional development processes. The Cyrel® FAST thermal system uses a dry operation, eliminating the use of solvent- or water-based chemical solutions, which is a perfect complement to our committed corporate policy with regard to protecting the environment."

The combination of Esko-CDI and DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST for the thermal etching and development of digital printing plates has proved to be revolutionary, eliminating extended drying stages, which for thin plates took at least 90 minutes.

The Netpack plant covers an area of approximately 20,000 square metres of covered space where, in addition to the new DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST system, coextrusion lines, flexographic printing presses of up to 8 colours, solventless couplers and spoolers have been installed to process the various types of material.

Netpack has 180 employees and an extensive commercial network. Its efficient logistical support and meticulous client service make it possible to deliver products throughout the world. In addition to its subsidiaries across Europe and the United States, Netpack has over 20 international distribution agents.
