Bynel® Provides an Appealing Barrier for Plastic Baby Food Packaging

The 100 percent recyclable 5-layer thermoformed baby food cups use a PP/EVOH/PP sheet that is coextruded using DuPont™ Bynel® adhesive as a tie layer to withstand the high temperatures of sterilization for maximum shelf-life.

Materials Selected and Why
The co-extruded Bynel® adhesive withstands the rigorous thermal processing required when producing long-life ambient stable packages. The thermoformed round-shaped cups offer barrier to oxygen, moisture and UV light.
