Welcome to Parlin. DuPont’s 350 acre Parlin site is located in the Borough of Sayreville in east-central New Jersey. Sayreville originally was established as a river port town, but blossomed into a leading manufacturing industry center and a great place to live and work.
The site’s history in Sayreville spans back to 1904 when DuPont purchased the International Smokeless Powder & Chemical Company for explosives manufacturing.
Today, the plant contributes millions of dollars to the local economy and employs around 300 employees who produce materials for the communications, technology, and display graphics industries. It also has the distinction of being the Company’s oldest continuously operating sites.
We work hard to serve as a good corporate citizen and contribute to the quality of life here. Our employees make a real difference through their on-site work and off-site community involvement. Together, DuPont Parlin and the men and women who work here are making a real difference for families, businesses, schools, nonprofits, and the environment.
