Ansell has long been recognized for its 100+ years of innovation and leadership in the hand protection and safety apparel industry. That’s why it’s no surprise that the introduction of the Ansell HyFlex® CR+ 11-501 glove has once again established new levels of protection performance.
HyFlex® CR+ 11-501 gloves offer superior cut resistance and dexterity. DuPont™ Kevlar® Stretch Armor Technology yarn, a breakthrough extension of traditional technology of Kevlar® brand fiber was developed exclusively by DuPont and Ansell to meet Ansell’s design requirements for cut protection. The Kevlar® Stretch Armor yarn provides superior cut resistance without sacrificing comfort.
Lightweight and ergonomically designed, HyFlex® CR+ 11-501 gloves offer excellent light oil grip, tactile sensitivity, dexterity and a high level of cut protection – a Level 4 based on the ANSI cut performance rating system.
In an internal DuPont study, Hyflex® CR+ gloves demonstrated greater dexterity than heavier weight string knit gloves using the ASTM F2010 test method. While using the Hyflex® gloves, people were able to complete the test, which utilizes small pins, in a shorter period of time.
HyFlex® CR+ 11-501 gloves are ideal for applications that require a high level of cut protection, grip and dexterity - especially in the metal fabrication, glass handling, pulp and paper, and automotive industries. As with all HyFlex® products this glove is offered in multiple sizes from XS to XXL (6-11).
This new technology, developed in collaboration with DuPont, is another example of Ansell’s ongoing commitment to understanding workers’ needs and making their jobs safe and easy. The company continuously strives to: increase user safety; improve comfort and ease-of-use for optimal worker acceptance; help eliminate or decrease the presence of ingredients that can potentially induce allergy for the wearer; enhance productivity; and optimize cost of ownership.
Headquartered in Red Bank, New Jersey, Ansell sells all its products through a worldwide network of safety distributors. Ansell serves a wide range of industries, including chemical manufacturing and refining, automotive, food processing, general industrial, pharmaceutical, paper, white goods, semiconductor and electronics manufacturing and primary metals.
