Do I need to change distributors?
We expect most customers will continue to be able to order through their current distributors and should have additional details after closing.
How will customers order products?
Customers will continue to order products through their current distributor as they do now. The distributor part numbers will not change. Locations for manufacturing and sterilization will also remain the same.
What should customers do about returns, rebates, terms and payments for garments purchased from Cardinal before the close?
If a customer purchased from Cardinal prior to closing, all returns, rebates, marketing support, terms and payment issues or questions should be directed to Cardinal.

Who will handle customer service? Technical service?
Upon closing, these will be handled by DuPont.
What will be different for distributors?
There will be very little change immediately after closing. Distributors may need to change their systems to reflect that they are purchasing from DuPont, and they’ll be ordering from DuPont.
Will I need to revalidate these products?
Since facilities, packaging and processing are not changing, it is our opinion and that of the experts that we have consulted that there is no requirement for end users to revalidate. However, it is up to each customer to make that determination, and we will work with customers and distributors to support their revalidation needs.
Will my sample process change?
We are working to understand Cardinal’s sampling process at this time. DuPont has a sampling process.
How will customers get information on changes?
The DuPont website will be updated to reflect changes. In addition, DuPont is committed to working with distributors on timely communications to their customers.
Will DuPont maintain the Cardinal Brand and Trademarks?
The Product Brand names will remain the same through the transition. DuPont is developing an overall, longer term brand strategy and plans to review with customers prior to implementation.
