DuPont™ Elvax® ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers have been used in photovoltaic applications for more than 25 years. Current Elvax® PV grades offer a range of performance choices based on composition, melt flow, antioxidant system and gel specification.
All Elvax® PV grades shown in Table 1 target the photovoltaic market and are made by DuPont using a proprietary process that helps assure consistent, high-quality, ultra-low-gel resins. DuPont recently formulated specialized Elvax® PV grades as shown below.
