DuPont ™ Plantex® Turf Blanket is a high-strength,
lightweight nonwoven polypropylene fabric that effectively helps
minimize damage from frost, wind, and insects/birds.
This white, UV stabilized blanket lets both air and water pass
through, and helps create a greenhouse-type environment (higher soil
and air temperatures, retained moisture) conducive to lawn growth, thus
extending the growing season and allowing for earlier green-up of
sports fields. DuPont™ Plantex® Turf Blanket provides a uniform
germination because erosion by rain, wind or watering is avoided.
Ideal for over-wintering, germination, and late/early season daily
covers, DuPont™ Plantex® Turf Blanket can be used for 2 to 3 seasons.
