Benefits Gained
With the help of DuPont™ Delrin®, the manufacturer launched one of the first step-in binding for snowboard. The plate used to be in metal and is now made of Delrin® allowing new design and lower part weight.
Materials Selected and Why
Delrin® was selected for its UV resistance, stiffness and toughness, excellent colourability as well as its impact resistance at low temperatures.
