DuPont™ Sorona® EP Thermoplastic Polymers

Containing 20% to 37% renewably sourced material, Sorona® EP offers molding and performance characteristics similar to high-performance PBT (polybutylene terephthalate).

DuPont™ Hytrel® RS Thermoplastic Elastomers

Containing 35% to 65% renewably sourced material, Hytrel® RS provides performance characteristics of original Hytrel® - unique combination of strength, toughness and flex life needed for demanding applications like extruded hose and tubing for automotive and industrial applications; blow molded boots for constant-velocity joints; injection molded parts such as air bag doors and energy dampers.

DuPont™ Zytel® RS Product Family

The Zytel® RS product family comprises all products based on PA1010 and PA610, including their copolymers and their alloys with other polymers. PA1010 contains 100% of renewably sourced content while PA610 contains 63%. The renewable content comes from sebacic acid which is derived from castor oil. Castor oil is one of the most versatile, non food competing natural products.
