DuPont™ Abcite® powder coatings are available to the U.S. and Canadian finishing industry.
These thermoplastic powders have been specifically formulated as a tough, chip-resistant finish providing excellent corrosion and UV protection without the need for a primer. DuPont™ Abcite® can be electrostatically applied or fluid bed dipped.
DuPont™ Abcite® by is based on DuPont™ Surlyn® resin, the same polymer used for the tough outer surface of golf balls. A few end-use applications include park and playground equipment, fence panels, balustrades, railings and light poles.
