Once you have completed your repair, you must re-snap the cap back in place securely. This will prevent the tip from drying out.
"How long does the product take to dry?"
The time it takes for the formula to harden depends upon a whole variety of external factors such as temperature, wind, etc. We recommend that you leave the product to harden for up to 30 minutes.
"Should I remove any excess product from the car surfaces?"
Yes, once you have applied the DuPont™ Pro-Fusion Color™ Scratch Repair Stick, quickly remove any excess with a clean dry cloth.
"Do I need to leave the repair in the sunlight in order for the repair to harden?"
No, unlike other products on the market, DuPont™ Pro-Fusion Color™ Scratch Repair Stick is activated by a solvent process. It will harden outside, or inside your garage.
"In case I make a mistake in applying the product, and I want to remove it after it has hardened, how can I remove it?"
In the unlikely event event that this happens, you are able to remove DuPont™ Pro-Fusion Color™ Scratch Repair Stick with the use of xylene*, which can be found at most good hardware stores.
