DuPont™ Battalion® herbicide provides corn growers with the best of both worlds: with both knockdown and residual control, you’ll see cleaner fields all season long.
 

Outstanding early season weed control: Battalion® can be applied to field corn before the crop emerges or post-emergently from the spike to 3-leaf stage of corn.  For hybrids <2500 CHU, apply pre-emergence only, for hybrids >2500 CHU you can apply either pre- or post-emergence.  Refer to the label for specific hybrid instructions.

Wide range of broadleaf and grassy weeds: The broadleaf weeds include: cleavers, corn spurry, cow cockle, Eastern black nightshade, green smartweed, lady’s-thumb, lamb’s-quarters, ragweed (common, false and giant), redroot pigweed, Russian pigweed, sow-thistle (top growth) (Canada, perennial), tartary buckwheat, velvetleaf, wild buckwheat and wild mustard.

Grassy weeds controlled by Battalion® include barnyard grass, fall panicum, green foxtail, large (hairy) crabgrass, old witchgrass, quackgrass (suppression), smooth crabgrass and yellow foxtail.

Helps with resistance management: With three modes of action (Groups 2, 4 and 15), Battalion® is also an effective tool for resistance management.
