Studies also showed that timely applications of Asana® XL can prevent yield losses by more than 13 bushels per acre. When aphids reach 250 per plant and the population is increasing, apply Asana® XL at 5.8 to 9.6 ounces per acre, ideally when plants are in reproductive stages R1 (beginning bloom) through R4 (full bloom).
Application Recommendations for Grasshoppers
For excellent, economical control of small- to medium-size grasshoppers, apply Asana® XL at 5.8 ounces per acre. Increase the rate as grasshoppers increase in size. Pay attention to field margins that may become infested as grasshoppers exhaust food sources in roadsides, ditches and fence lines.
