In forestry applications, DuPont™ Oustar® herbicide helps improve conifer seedling survival and growth by allowing seedlings to optimize water, light and nutrients through broad-spectrum residual weed control that reduces competition.
Oustar® controls key species, including chickweed, dogfennel, fescue, fireweed (willowweed), goldenrod, horseweed, yellow nutsedge, panicums, pokeweed and white snakeroot.
It may be applied in the first and subsequent growing seasons to provide the weed control necessary to expedite conifer development and crown closure.
