DuPont Acquires Access to Sulfentrazone
WILMINGTON, Del., Feb. 15, 2006 — DuPont has reached an agreement with FMC Corporation to introduce new sulfentrazone combination product offerings for bareground vegetation management (VM) uses in the United States and its territories. DuPont will provide the market with value added blends of sulfentrazone and DuPont vegetation management products.
“This agreement allows DuPont to develop targeted blends designed to provide the ultimate bareground solution for our customers in the United States,” said Kim Diaz, marketing manager for the DuPont Vegetation Management and Forestry businesses. “We will now be able to create an offering that provides extended control of a broad spectrum of weeds, even ALS resistant biotypes such as kochia and Russian thistle.”
Pending registration, DuPont expects to have product in the market by late summer 2006.
