DuPont Crop Protection Recognizes Environmental Leadership in Mexico

DuPont News, July 17, 2007 - DuPont Crop Protection recently presented the Environmental Respect Award to LOF Agro for their leadership in the protection and care of the environment in Mexico.

The DuPont Environmental Respect Award honors global distributors who reduce toxic waste, institute recycling programs, manage waste properly, prepare for emergency response, train employees and participate with customers and communities.

Tomas Chavez, president, DuPont Mexico, presented the award to Jose Gil Lopez Valenzuela, president, LOF Agro.

"This award is an example of the philosophy that DuPont follows -- what is good for businesses is good for the environment," Tomas said.

"We continue to work with our distributors on safety and product stewardship as well as share our best practices," said Marcos Gaio, director, DuPont Crop Protection, Mexico, Andean Region, Central American and Caribbean.
