Tyvek® is a high-tech membrane material manufactured by DuPont, which combines strength, protective properties and high vapor permeability.

It consists of millions of thin continuous high-density polyethylene filaments produced by ultrahigh-speed forming and bonded together under high-temperature conditions.

The material unique nonwoven structure ensures its vapor permeability while providing for protective properties throughout the whole fabric surface.

The material is broadly used in construction (roofing and wall membranes), packaging, and chemical protective garments. Besides, a specialty range of the materials is fit of applying graphic information on the surface, which brings about its use in making envelopes, maps, labels, banners, and other printed products withstanding exposure to environmental effects.
