DuPont Professional Products Continues to Grow Sales Force; Hires Adam Neate as Sales Representative for Turf and Ornamental Products
WILMINGTON, Del., June 25, 2009 – DuPont Professional Products today announced it has added Adam Neate as a Turf & Ornamental sales representative to its expanding sales force. Bringing established sales credentials in the turf industry, Neate will focus on the regions of West Virginia, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North and South Dakota.
Previously, Neate was in a consultative role with DuPont, assisting the sales team in the training and introduction of DuPont™ Acelepryn® and DuPont™ Provaunt® insecticides to distributors and golf and lawn care accounts. Prior to DuPont, Neate worked throughout the turf industry, successfully growing sales through distributor channels and direct customer contacts. Neate graduated from The Ohio State University Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Agriculture and a minor in Agribusiness.
“Adam brings a high level of energy and dedication to our team. We’re excited to have him fully on board,” said Mike McDermott, global business leader -- DuPont Professional Products. “Adam’s product knowledge, plus his existing relationships in the region, means he will hit the ground running and immediately be a key resource to our growing network of distributors and customers.”
Neate will help DuPont meet the growing market need for DuPont insecticides Acelepryn® and Provaunt®. With just one application of Acelepryn®, turf professionals can control all 10 key turf-damaging white grub species plus surface-feeding insects such as annual bluegrass weevils, billbugs, cutworms and caterpillars. In addition to its efficacy, both golf and lawn care professionals recognize the benefits of the environmental and toxicological profile of Acelepryn®. It is classified as reduced-risk by the EPA for applications to turfgrass, features an active ingredient with a novel mode of action that puts it in a class by itself. Provaunt® is proven to control turf caterpillars such as cutworms and sod webworms, plus leaf-eating caterpillars, including gypsy moth caterpillars and tent caterpillars. Even with its low application rates, Provaunt® is the ideal choice for use on turf and to protect oaks, crabapples, flowering cherries and a wide range of trees and shrubs. Its active ingredient also has a favorable environmental profile and there are no buffer zones around water.
