Kevin Huttman

Kevin Huttman is president of DuPont Qualicon, based in Wilmington, Del.  Prior to joining DuPont Qualicon in February 2002, Huttman spent two years leading information technology and consulting businesses focused on key areas of diagnostics, agribusiness, biotechnology and animal health.

During his 17 years of experience in the diagnostics industry, which began at Abbott Laboratories, Huttman has served in a variety of sales and marketing management roles.  Most notably as vice president and general manager of worldwide operations for the Food Safety and Dairy business units at IDEXX Laboratories and director of business development for new business ventures at IDEXX.  While serving in these capacities, Huttman gained extensive international experience, establishing new entities in Mexico, Brazil and Australia, and managing operations in the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands and Japan.

A former Special Forces Green Beret in the U.S. Army, Huttman earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Illinois.  He has completed extensive advanced course work at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, the Kellogg Graduate School of Marketing Management and the Harvard Business School program on negotiation and decision making.

Huttman resides with his family in the Wilmington area.
