Michael Chong
As business leader in Asia Pacific, Michael Chong is responsible for DuPont Qualicon sales, marketing and technical support to food, government and pharmaceutical markets throughout the region.
Before joining DuPont Qualicon in 2003, Chong worked at Hewlett Packard Medical Products Group, starting out as a sales representative and growing over the next 16 years into a variety of sales and marketing management positions for ASEAN and the Asia Pacific region. He has also held regional sales manager positions at GE Healthcare and Drager Medical, serving the diagnostic imaging and critical care markets.
Chong graduated from the Western Australia Institute of Technology (now known as Curtin University)with a bachelor's degree in applied science medical technology. He also earned post-graduate in marketing management from the Singapore Institute of Management.
Born in Malaysia, Chong has worked in Singapore and now works from the DuPont Melborne office.
