Rodrigo Zapata
As Global Government & Regulatory Manager and Latin American Business Leader for DuPont Qualicon, Rodrigo Zapata is responsible for sales and marketing to food, government and pharmaceutical markets throughout the region. 
Before joining DuPont Qualicon in 2008, Zapata worked for 3 years as Technical Secretary to the Minister and subsequently as Deputy Director General for Economic Studies and International Trade Negotiations at Mexico's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food. In these roles, he gained a broad base of public policy and international trade affairs experience. Prior to these responsibilities, Zapata worked at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Secretariat (APEC) and the Singapore Trade Development Board, were he increased his knowledge in international trade and investment promotion. 
Zapata earned his BA degree in International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He has lived abroad in Germany, Japan, the US and Singapore and currently resides in Mexico City.
